Adjustable Pressure for Safe Diagnostics
Modern vehicle EVAP systems are highly sensitive and can be easily damaged by excessive pressure. Our automotive smoke leak detector kit uses the SET MODE knob: EVAP 0–1 PSI for the evaporative system, and Normal 0–7 PSI for intake, vacuum and exhaust. The box holds two 20 ml AutoLine Pro smoke-fluid pouches, the hose with tapered nozzle, battery clamps and a hanging hook. Cone, bladder and fuel-cap adapters are sold separately.
How to Diagnose Leaks
- Keep the engine off. Pour one 20 ml AutoLine Pro pouch into the fill well and check the level.
- Clip red to battery positive and black to negative on a 12 V vehicle battery.
- Fit the hose with the tapered nozzle. This kit has no cone, bladder or fuel-cap adapters in the box.
- Turn the SET MODE knob to EVAP (0–1 PSI) or Normal (0–7 PSI), then switch on.
- Smoke is ready without a long warm-up. Watch for leaks with a bright torch in a well-ventilated space.
