How to Diagnose Leaks
- Remove the oil filler cap on the unit and add 10-20ml of the provided OEM-approved smoke fluid (do not exceed 40ml).
- Connect the power cable to the vehicle's 12V battery (Red to Positive, Black to Negative).
- Select the appropriate adapter (e.g., universal cone for intake) and connect the smoke delivery hose to the system being tested.
- Turn on the power switch and adjust the pressure regulator to the required PSI for the specific system (use low pressure for EVAP).
- Wait 30-45 seconds for thick smoke to generate, then inspect the engine bay or undercarriage with a bright torch to locate escaping smoke.
